For almost 30 years, Weston McCorkle has been announcing the livestock competition at the State Fair. It can be a three-ring circus when the competition features a two-ring cattle showing. He's been behind the mic at the NC State Fair since the mid-90s as the livestock shows announcer.
Weston was 12 when he first went to the State Fair, as an exhibitor showing sheep.
"That was the conversation on the way home, we're coming back next year and bringing some animals."
